you can record your video clip with your digital camera, camcorder or even download them off the web (make sure you have permission to use any video clip that you submit)

flipbooks with video clips between 5 and 12 seconds long work best

the maximum file size our file server can handle is 2mb

you will need to edit your video file down to the required length. we can accept pretty much any file format - avi, wmv, mov, mpg, mp4, 3gp etc, so export your video in a format that will come under the 2mb file size limit

remember that a small proportion of the video will be lost around the edge of the flipbook when we line everything up and cut it (the bleed). keep your focus on the middle right of the scene.

try and get a good contrast on the video, and remember action is key. it doesn't have to be fast, but it's best when most of the scene changes

try and keep your video flipbook in a "landscape" orientation

as with video flipbooks, the maximum file size our server can handle is 2mb

again, a tiny proportion of the outside ege of your photo may be lost during the cutting process (the bleed). Try to keep your subject in the middle.

photos with a good contrast will make the flipbook much more dynamic
